The Arcam FMJ A29 Amplifier is a simple no fuss analogue integrated amplifier with many inputs, including a built in MM input.

Historically, it has eschewed trendier bells and whistles for the cleaner design and shorter signal paths that lead to a purer, more authentically musical presentation. Its latest, the A49, represents the brand’s top-tier integrated from its FMJ Series. 2017-03-17 Arcam’s FMJ A19 integrated amplifier doesn’t grab the eye as does, say, a Marantz or a Peachtree Audio product. Its sedate appearance has all the outward appeal of a Jane Austen novel, and its $999 USD asking price doesn’t suggest that it’s anything special.
